Loretta J. Calvert, 59, a Gardnerville resident for the past 24 years, died Oct. 14, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Fred and Afton Kunz Allhizer.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Stockton, Calif.
She married Dean Calvert Oct. 12, 1968, in Carson City.
Mrs. Calvert enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, reading, professional football and was active in Fantasy Football.
Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; son, Darrel of Minden; and daughter and son-in-law; Jennifer and Joe Whitworth of Carson City.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
