A memorial service for Arthur G. De La Pena, 51, of Santa Maria, Calif., will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall, 555 E. Foster, Santa Maria.
Mr. De La Pena died Sept. 4, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles. He was born Feb. 6, 1952, in Watsonville, Calif., to John and Charlotte De La Pena.
He lived in Carson City for five years and for many years in Kennewick, Wash., where he worked as a general contractor. He was a carpenter/electrician in the Santa Ynez Valley and Central Coast area.
He was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1974.
Among his survivors are his wife, Linda; daughters Gina De La Pena of Santa Clarita, Calif., Jody Knutzen of Winnetka, Calif., and Wendy De La Pena of Santa Clarita; son-in-law Paul Knutzen; grandchildren Brendan Knutzen and Regina De La Pena; his parents; brothers John, Dave, Allen, Rick, Jeff and Danny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
