Itronics sells to DoD ships

Itronics Inc.

of Reno said it's shipped two of its improved photochemical concentrators for shipboard use.

The units were sold to the Defense Department to reduce the accumulation of photographic waste aboard naval ships; the concentrates are recycled at Itronics' Reno plant.

The company said the sale proceeds will be reported in its third quarter results.
