Karen Yates of Minden was elected to a three-year term as a director of the National Court Reporters Association at the organization's annual convention in Reno.
Yates is co-owner and secretary-treasurer of Reno-based Captions Unlimited of Nevada, Inc.
Yates is a Nevada Certified Court Reporter and a California Certified Shorthand Reporter.
