PEACE wins free ad campaign

The Parent Education and Child Enrichment Project (PEACE) will receive a free advertising campaign thanks to the Advertising Association of Northern Nevada.

PEACE is the recipient of A2N2's 2003 Community Service Project.

Advertising professionals who are members of A2N2 will formulate and design a complete advertising campaign for PEACE, potentially including billboards, radio and TV spots, print advertising and web design,

depending on the organization's needs.

"We had 17 entrants from a variety of deserving nonprofits," said Larry DeVincenzi, A2N2's Community Service Director.

"I can tell you, the selection process was more than difficult."

PEACE provides educational opportunities and family support to Northern Nevada parents and children.

The nonprofit organization encourages and promotes the positive development, health, well being and safety of children and families in Northern Nevada communities.

A2N2 chose its Community Service Project recipient based on questionnaires specifying the services the non-profits provide, background information about the organization and the specific projects for which the non-profit needs help.
