Obituary: Patrick Martineau

A celebration of life for Patrick J. Martineau, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be at at 4 p.m. Friday at 214 W. King St.

Mr. Martineau died Sept. 26, 2003, at home. He was born Nov. 16, 1929, in St. Paul, Minn., to Harvey and Julia Devine Martineau.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Maplewood, Minn.

He married Donine Mersch Feb. 28, 1949, in St. Paul.

Mr. Martineau was a brick mason. He enjoyed working in his yard, bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Daniel of Blaine, Minn., Stephen of Columbia Heights and Jim of Carson City; daughter, Nancy Martineau of Jacks Valley; a brother; three sisters; and four grandchildren.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

Fitzhenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
