Patrick Jess Stark, 67, a Gardnerville resident for the past seven years, died April 1, 2004, in Gardnerville.
Services will be held in Redondo Beach, Calif., at a later date.
Mr. Stark was born Dec. 30, 1936, in California to Jess Stark and Bernice Young.
Prior to living in Gardnerville Mr. Stark resided in Southern California.
He married Chere Major Sept. 6, 1958, in Culver City, Calif.
Mr. Stark owned and operated a retail business.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife Chere Stark of Gardnerville; mother Bernice Stark of Fair Oaks, Calif.; sons Kelley Stark of Redondo Beach, Jon Stark of Torrence, Calif., and Eric Stark of Moreno Valley, Calif.; sister Dolores Hart of Fair Oaks; and four grandchildren.
Cremation was under the direction of Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society in Carson City.
