A memorial service for Marc Carter Nicholls, 43, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Mr. Nicholls died Aug. 1, 2004. He was born Aug. 29, 1960, in Denver.
He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1983 with a degree in economics. He then moved to Lake Tahoe.
Since earning the rank of Eagle Scout, he enjoyed the outdoors and the mountains. He traveled to Nepal to see Mount Everest. He enjoyed skiing and golf.
Among his survivors are his brother, Bruce; brother and sister-in-law, Tedd and Anna-Maria and their children Margot and Joshua, all of Denver.
FitzHenry's Carson City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
