Shawn Dean Stewart, 26, a Carson City resident for the past four years, died Aug. 3, 2004. He was born Sept. 28, 1977, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to Gerald and Debra Stewart.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Las Vegas, where he graduated from Eldorado High School.
Mr. Stewart enjoyed music and being with close friends and his family.
Among his survivors are his parents of Maryland; sister, Brandi Stewart of West Virginia; son, Mathew Perry of Las Vegas; daughter, Zoe Pope-Stewart of Carson City; fiancee Nitoshia Pope and her daughter, Taylor of Carson City; niece, Hayley; and nephews Brian and Joey of West Virginia.
A private service will be at a later date.
