Dayton
The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:
Monday: Spud stuffer with ground beef, cheese, sour cream, butter, carrots, peaches, fruit juice.
Tuesday: French dip, mixed veggies, pasta salad, fruit crisp.
Wednesday: Polish sausage, sauerkraut, peas, rye bread, peaches, brownies.
Thursday: Sloppy Joes, zucchini, pears with Jell-O, grape juice, cookies.
Friday: Prime rib, scalloped potatoes, green beans with mushrooms, roll, peaches, cake and ice cream.
Silver Springs
The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:
Monday: Pot roast with veggies, apricots, biscuits with butter.
Tuesday: Chicken patty, au gratin potatoes, corn, peas-and-carrot mix, peach crisp.
Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, mixed fruit, bread with butter.
Thursday: Ham and beans, cornbread with honey, pea salad, fresh banana.
Friday: Roast turkey with stuffing and gravy, brussels sprouts, yams, fresh fruit salad, roll with butter.
Fernley
The menu for the Fernley Senior Center, 1170 W. Newlands Dr:
Monday: Oven-baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, green salad, peach crisp.
Tuesday: Liver and onions, spinach, mashed potatoes with gravy, peaches, bread.
Wednesday: Cheese ravioli with meat sauce, Caesar salad, garlic bread, apple crisp.
Thursday: Tuna casserole, green salad, orange slices, bread.
Friday: Pork tenderloin, applesauce, glazed carrots, stuffing, gravy, bread, cake.
Storey County
The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:
Monday: Brunch for lunch. Cheese scramble with tomatoes, bacon, biscuit and fruit.
Tuesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, asparagus, peach cobbler.
Wednesday: Barbecued chicken, potato salad, pea salad, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: Stuffed bell pepper with sausage and rice, cheesy cauliflower, apple crisp.
Friday: Poor man's lobster, lemon herbed rice, veggie medley, bread pudding.
Yerington
The Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:
Monday: Sirloin tips and noodles, green salad, copper pennies, fruit dish, soup.
Tuesday: Chicken noodle soup, fruit salad, cake, biscuit, soup.
Wednesday: Hot turkey sandwich with dressing, frozen peas, cranberry Jell-O salad, pudding, soup.
Thursday: Burritos and Spanish rice, salad, ice cream sundaes, soup.
Friday: Fancy ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans with onions, Jell-O salad, pumpkin and mincemeat pie.
