Sidne R. "Syd" Brown, 60, a Carson City resident for the past 24 years, died Dec. 10, 2004, at Washoe Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1944, in Illinois.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Mammoth Lakes, Calif.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her husband of 42 years, Joe of Carson City; sons Joe of Utah and Michael of Carson City; daughter, Patricia Brown of Dallas; stepbrothers Lawrence Ramsey and William Ramsey, both of Virginia, and David Ramsey of Ohio; sister, Claire Robbs of Canton, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
