Richard B."Dick"Rowe has been named as senior vice president and western Nevada regional manager for Great Basin Bank.He will oversee the company's new branch in Fallon.
He most recently managed the Carson City operation of Bank of the West.
Rowe began his banking career in 1964 in Reno as a teller with First National Bank of Nevada after service in the U.S.
Army.He has served in operations positions in branches in Fallon, Reno and Sparks during his career as well as a loan officer at a Fallon branch from 1973 to 1979.
In 1979 he was promoted to branch manager for the then-new Fernley branch.
In 1982 he went to work for Security Bank of Nevada as the manager of its Fallon office.He worked for Bank of the West since 1999.
