Purchaser of Re/Max office adds agents, looks for space

Since Mike Soon bought Re/Max Realty Professionals, covering Reno and Sparks, from Gary Canepa in August, he's added 10 agents to his team.His plans of setting up shop in a new building are still in the works, he says.

Meanwhile, his Reno agents occupy the first floor of a 29,000-square-foot building.

"We're expanding into additional space as tenants move out," says Soon.

Re/Max Realty Professionals also purchased the rights for the Sparks area, and the company is looking for a new location there.

And its opened a Fernley office and is in the midst of getting approval for an office on Main Street.
