Putting 50-plus baby boomer executives - those who want to work part-time or temp - in touch with small- or medium-sized businesses that need their expertise was the launching force behind this new division of Reno's Applied Staffing Solutions LLC.
"And it's still breathing,"says Jim Annis, Applied Staffing owner."It's healthy, but not flourishing."
The division's manager was lured away to other pastures in Minden.
That left Execu-Temps back on Annis's desk, a crowded place to be,with two other divisions - temp and direct-hire clients - already occupying that real estate.
"We're still committed and believe that there's a need from both sides - job seekers and businesses," says Annis.
There's just no time to market the product in Nevada's fastmoving job market.
