Margaret S. Fraters, 87, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died Dec. 21, 2004, at home.
She was born July 2, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Earl F. Jones.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Trinidad, Calif.
Mrs. Fraters was a Baptist. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Fraters.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Teresa McGrath of Carson City; nephews Clyde Simpson of Utah and Earl Simpson of Arkansas; grandchildren Erick Jorgensen and Karen Sheeks of Carson City; and great-grandchild, Heather Sheeks of Carson City.
No public service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
