Robert Turner of Reno has been named to the management team of Plum Mining, a unit of GoldSpring Inc.
Turner's 25 years in the mining industry include work as general manger of Pegasus Gold Corp., where he built the Zortman-Landusky Mine, which, at that time, was the largest heap leach gold operation in the world.
He also worked with several mining companies in Australia.
Most recently,Turner has worked as a consultant for mining companies including Alta Gold.
