Morrill Conrad Diedrichs

A funeral for Morrill Conrad Diedrichs, 87, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at FitzHenry's.

Mr. Diedrichs died Feb. 11, 2004, at home. He was born July 13, 1916, in Sterling, Neb., to Emil and Mary Rathe Diedrichs.

He attended Lutheran school and Fremont High School.

He married Anna Mae Gibson April 8, 1961, in Ojai, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Glendale, Calif.

Mr. Diedrichs was a supervisor for the California Department of Motor Vehicles. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a staff sergeant in Squadron A-3501.

He was preceded in death by sisters Evelyn, Luella, Delores, Geraldine and Wilma; and brothers Loren and Orville.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sister Alberta Allen of Oakridge, Ore.; brother Gerald of Los Angeles; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery with military honors.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
