Helen Dorothy Coleman, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 39 years, died Feb. 23, 2004, at her home. She was born April 4, 1923, in Buffalo, N.Y.
She married Alec Coleman June 15, 1964, in Carson City.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at Lake Tahoe for three years.
Mrs. Coleman was a hospital worker and a homemaker. She was a member of the Carpenters Retiree Club.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, David A. Coleman, July 7, 2001.
Among her survivors are her husband of 39 years; stepchildren Beth Lorenz of New Hampshire and C.J. Coleman of Carson City; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation and private services will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
Reno Memorial Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
