A memorial service for Penny Ann Lewsader, 57, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Lewsader died Feb. 24, 2004, at Washoe Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1946, in Illinois, to Russell Eugene and Betty Trotter Denison.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Torrence, Calif.
Mrs. Lewsader had been a personnel technician for the State of Nevada since 1980. She enjoyed counted cross stitch and sewing. She was an avid TV viewer and she loved Disneyland and her grandchildren. She was a Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1991.
Among her survivors are her mother of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Rob Oberg of Reno; brother and sister-in-law Russ and Kathy Denison of Guernsey, Iowa and grandchildren Zoie, Hallie and Jack Oberg of Reno.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
