George A.
Filippides has been named president and chief executive officer of Reno-based O'Hara Resources Ltd.
He succeeds Robert Vrooman, who becomes chief operating officer of the publicly held mining company.
Filippides and Vrooman will serve as co-chairmen of the O'Hara Resource board.
