Donald Carl Goad, 76, a Gardnerville resident for the past 27 years, died Dec. 31, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Copeland, Kan., to Carl and May Garton Goad.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Grand Junction, Colo.
Mr. Goad worked as an engineer for the Colorado Department of Highways.
Among his survivors are his wife, Shirley of Gardnerville; three children; sister; and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
