Douglas A. Johnson

Douglas A. Johnson, 53, died Nov. 2, 2003, in Reno.

He graduated from Carson High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno.

He served in the U.S. Navy for a year in Vietnam, a year in Ethiopia and a year in Italy.

After his service, he returned to UNR and was a computer electronics specialist.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Cdr. Jerry Johnson of Carson City.

Among his survivors are his wife, Angele of Reno; mother, Emolene of Carson City; brother, Robert of Eureka, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews and stepchildren.

A funeral was held in Reno with the Rev. Jefferies of the Episcopal Church officiating.
