A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a couple sought in the robbery of the AM/PM convenience store in south Carson City.
About 2 a.m. on Jan. 4, a man and woman entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. As the clerk was putting money in the bag, the man pulled the phone cord off the telephone.
The pair then ran out of the store.
The woman wore a red, white and brown plaid shirt, black watch cap and ski mask. The man wore a light blue zip-up sweater and light blue gloves. They may have been in a white pickup.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Carson City Sheriff's Department at 887-2020, ext. 1400 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
