Each year, the Big Dig raises approximately $50,000 to help give children with cancer the opportunity to attend camps and participate in medical research programs.

Children from around the community are invited to participate in the day-long event, which gives them the opportunity to operate heavy construction equipment including bulldozers, front-end loaders, cranes, dump trucks and excavators.

Granite provides financial support to the event including as well as volunteers, heavy equipment and the location for the event.
