Georgeson, partner and head of McDonald Carano Wilson LLP's Construction Law Practice Group, has been named president of the Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

The FBA is a professional organization consisting of over 16,000 members and is open to private and government lawyers and judges involved in federal practice.

There are more than 100 members in the Nevada Chapter.

Georgeson's practice focuses on construction law, commercial litigation, and premises liabilities defense.

He is a member of the Washoe County, Nevada, and American Bar Associations as well as the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern Nevada.

Georgeson graduated from law school at the University of California, Davis, where he was a staff editor of the U.C.

Davis Law Review.
