Lawrence Lemos, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, died Jan. 9, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Nov. 7, 1919, in Hayward, Calif., to Franciscus and Margarida Dutra Lemos.
Before moving to Carson City, he farmed in Yerington. He enjoyed music, golfing and filming family movies.
Mr. Lemos served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Feldt.
Among his survivors are his brother, Arnold of Half Moon Bay, Calif.; son, Richard; and many nieces and nephews.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
