Modene Olnhausen, 83, a Mound House resident for the past two years and a former Silver Springs resident, died Jan. 12, 2004, at home. She was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Oklahoma, to Riley and Emma Salmons.
Mrs. Olnhausen was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, playing the organ and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and daughter, Vernann Dobbs.
Among her survivors are her sons Kyle of Mound House and Kenneth of Silver Springs, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No service is scheduled.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
