Janet Houge has been hired as assistant branch sales manager for Colonial Bank's McCarran Landing branch.
Houge is responsible for the increase of deposits, loans and revenue as well as maintaining branch operations, customer service and employee morale.
She brings more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry to her position.
She previously worked as a branch service manager with Nevada State Bank in Sparks.
Houge serves on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board of Directors.
The bank also promoted Heather A.
Platt to human resources assistant in its Reno office.
Platt is responsible for new employee orientation, payroll processing, the supervision of the applicant process, and the development of specialized training courses and seminars.
She brings more than 10 years of banking experience to her position.
Prior to her promotion, she worked as assistant branch manager for the Parklane Branch.
