For the fourth consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority with its Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, the only national awards program in governmental budgeting, for the local organization's annual budget.
In order to receive the budget award, the RSCVA had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation.
