Larry E. Saylor, 73, a Minden resident for the past five years, died July 4, 2004, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1930, in California to Thomas and Marion Howard Saylor.
Before moving to Minden, he lived in Southern California.
Mr. Saylor was an engineer in the aerospace field for 30 years. He enjoyed working and making model airplanes for more than 60 years.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.
Among his survivors are his wife of 46 years, Ann of Minden; sons Michael and Eric, both of California; daughter, Loralei Saylor of California; sister, Patricia Bernardo; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
