A service for Evelyn Christopher Volkens, 85, a Napa, Calif., resident for the past six years, will be at noon July 23 in the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service in Napa.
Mrs. Volkens died June 15, 2004, in Napa. She was born Feb. 1, 1919, in Overton, Neb., to Luie and Effie Christopher.
Mrs. Volens was a member of the First Ward LDS Church in Napa. She was also a member of NARFE Chapter 1329 in Carson City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1985.
Among her survivors are her sons David Cash and Alan Cash and their wives Maryann and Ann; granddaughters Elizabeth Siamas, Lauren Heckman, Mollie Schrodi and Erin Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Mason, Eletha Sillinpaa and Ruth Carvahlo and brother, Luie Christopher.
