Wayne Allen Snipes, 58, a Reno resident for the past four years, died July 13, 2004.
He was born May 8, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Bill and Sylvia Snipes.
He grew up in Oklahoma City, where he met and married his wife of 39 years.
He moved to Lake Tahoe in 1979, where he owned and operated Trophy Liquors.
Among his survivors are his mother, Silvia; wife, Janet; children Todd and Clendon; daughter-in-law, Renee; granddaughters Alex, Makena and Emma; sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Gary Morrisey and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Cheri.
A private celebration of life will be at the Snipes residence in Reno at 7:30 p.m. July 17.
Walton Funeral Home Reno is in charge of arrangements.
