Intermountain Slurry Seal Inc.
won a $1.46 million contract to seal 55 miles roads in unincorporated Washoe County.
Last week's action by the Washoe County Commissioners reflected renewal of a two-year contract with the company.
Costs of the contract this year are up 5.7 percent because of increases in fuel, labor, asphalt and insurance.
Intermountain Slurry Seal, a unit of Granite Construction Co.
operates a Reno-area office based in Sparks.
