Elizabeth Hoffman has joined Alere Medical Inc.
as vice president, clinical services, and Karen Hechinger joins he company as director of patient relations.
Hoffman comes to Alere Medical from Health Partners Inc.
in Minneapolis, where she was director of disease management.
She was previously vice president of business development for Evercare, a division of United Health Group.
Hoffman is a registered occupational therapist and also holds a master's of administrative science degree from Johns Hopkins University.
Hechinger was most recently provider services call center operations director for Amerigroup Corp.
in Virginia Beach, Va.
Previously, she was call center workforce management vice president for Dreyfus Corp.
in Uniondale, N.Y.
