NNDA adds technology show to its annual business expo

Northern Nevada Development Authority has scheduled its Business and Tech Expo Sept.

30 at the offices of the Nevada Appeal in Carson City.

Last year's edition of the event the first time it was conducted showcased more than 75 businesses.

They ranged from financial services to manufacturers to providers of business services.

This year, a separate tech component of the expo will showcase technology manufacturers and service providers in the area.

The Business and Tech Expo is cosponsored by the Nevada Appeal and Northern Nevada Business Weekly.

Major sponsors include Technology Ventures Corp., Hewlett-Packard and JFG Systems Inc.

NNDA continues to seek other sponsors for the event; sponsorship packages range from $1,000 to $5,000.

Also, NNDA has begun reserving booth space.
