Ranson Webster of Reno has been elected to the board of directors of Heritage Commerce Corp., a banking company based in San Jose.
He was the founder of Computing Resources Inc., an accounting company that merged with Intuit Inc.
in 1999.
Webster also founded Evergreen Capital LLC, a venture capital fund, and he is a founder and substantial shareholder in Heritage Commerce Corp.
Webster is chairman of the board of the National Automotive Museum and Nevada Policy Research Institute.
He serves on the boards of organizations ranging from Sage Ridge School to Artown and the Nevada Commission on Education Technology.
