Jacqueline A. Curry

A funeral Mass for Jacqueline A. Curry, 80, of Salton City, Calif., will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Church with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Curry died June 25, 2004, at home. She was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Hibbing, Minn., to Fred and Theresa Stubler Luzare.

She lived in Wisconsin until 1936, when her family moved to California.

She married Ben Fallon in 1942.

She married Emmert Curry in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Mrs. Curry was a drill press operator during World War II for Douglas Aircraft. After her retirement, she traveled for seven years then settled in Wellington in the late 1980s. She moved to Oregon in 2001, and in 2003, she moved to Salton City.

She enjoyed bowling and fishing and was an active member of the Catholic Church throughout her life.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
