A funeral for Frances Alberta Huizer, 64, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Smith Valley United Methodist Church. A reception will be held at the church following the service.
Mrs. Huizer died June 28, 2004, at Washoe Medical Center. She was born Nov. 23, 1939, in Hays, Kan., to Frank and Ines Moses Carter.
Mrs. Huizer had worked as an associate at the Carson City Wal-Mart.
Among her survivors are her children Michelle, Jack and Darin; two grandchildren and one sister.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
