Richard 'Dick' H. Waller

A funeral for Richard "Dick" H. Waller, 72, a Fish Springs/Gardnerville resident for the past 17 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.

Mr. Waller died Feb. 29, 2004 in Apache Junction, Ariz. He was born Jan. 2, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas, to Richard H. Waller Sr. and Gladys Helmar. He was preceded in death by his sister Dottie and brother Danny.

Mr. Waller enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, hunting, gardening and his dogs.

He worked as a salesman for Pepsi and retired after 28 years of service.

Among his survivors are his wife, Marilyn of Fish Springs; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Dana of Texas; daughter and son-in-law Judy and Mike Walsh of Carson City; daughters Terri Respess of Carson City, Bunny of California, Nancy, Sharon and Susie, all of Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law Gladys and Fred Rahner and Dixie and Ron Roberson of California; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Joyce Waller of California, 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden after the funeral.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
