A service for Phillip Lynell Crofton, 57, a Dayton resident for the past 15 years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Crofton died March 9, 2004, at Regent Medical Center in Reno. He was born Nov. 26, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan., to Lynell and Esther Crofton.
He graduated from Torrance High School in Torrance, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Torrance for 42 years.
Mr. Crofton worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 20 years. He was a member of various softball organizations throughout his life.
He served in the U.S. Army for two years.
Among his survivors are his son, Keith of Torrance; daughter, Katie Senn of Reno; granddaughter, McKayla Senn of Reno; and grandson Aidan Crofton of Torrance.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
