Agencies' seminars to help develop renewable energy in rural Nevada

The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Nevada and the Nevada State Office of Energy are working together to help rural counties develop their renewable resources.

They are holding a series of workshops.

Workshops will be held in Lovelock and Winnemucca on April 5, in Battle Mountain and Elko on April 6, in Ely and Eureka on April 7 and in Fallon on April 8.

The workshops are also being sponsored by the Nevada Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Task Force, The Nevada Commission on Economic Development, the Nevada Association of Counties, the Nevada Rural Development Council, the Nevada Farm Bureau Federation and the Nevada Wind Power Working Group.
