Steven Dexter

A funeral for Steven Dexter, 49, a longtime Carson City resident, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Walton's.

Mr. Dexter died March 28, 2004, in Carson City. He was born March 4, 1955, in Carson City to Clarence and Edna Allen Dexter.

Mr. Dexter was a printer. He was a member of the Native American Church. He enjoyed hunting and working on his computer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his companion, Lorraine Dick of Carson City; cousins Pete Dexter of Albuquerque, N.M., Clifford Galvan of Washington, Velma Allen of Fallon, Sharon Allen and Junior Galvan, both of Carson City, Marena Galvan of Reno and Antonio Galvan of Washington.

Burial will be at the Stewart Cemetery in Carson City.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
