A memorial service for Shirley E. Kight, 56, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carson Valley Christian Center on Stephanie Way.
Mrs. Kight died May 12, 2004, in Carson City.
She was born July 22, 1947, in California, to Harvey L. and Evelyn Mesqueta Porterfield.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Modesto, Calif.
She married Dale Kight Nov. 5, 1976, at Lake Tahoe.
Mrs. Kight was an avid car show enthusiast.
Among her survivors are her husband, of Carson City; sons Tony Wilkinson and Daren Kight both of Carson City and Richard Kight of Ukiah, Calif.; brothers John Porterfield of Las Vegas, Russell Porterfield, of Napa, Calif., and Jerry Porterfield of Modesto and nine grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
