Anchor Concrete wins Panther Valley bid

Anchor Concrete of Sparks won a $478,822 bid from the City of Reno for improvements at Panther Valley Park.

The project calls for expansion of concrete walking and jogging paths, development of a small concrete skating element with obstacle course, addition of a turf playing field, and expansion of the existing landscaping and irrigation.

There will also be a new picnic area with tables and barbecue, added play area with rubberized surfacing and new swing set equipment as well as concrete pull out areas with benches along the walkway.

Work is expected to begin June 1 with completion by the end of August.
