Gerardo Torres, 54, a Carson City resident for the past four years, died May 22, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 6, 1950, in Tamazula Jalisco Mexico, to Juan and Obdulia Garcia Torres.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Phoenix.
Mr. Torres was a Catholic. He enjoyed soccer.
Among his survivors are his sons Gerardo and Jose Ramon, both of Carson City and Gerardo of Vera Cruz, Mexico; daughters Veronica Torres of Escondido, Calif., Obdulia Torres and Eloisa Torres, both of Vera Cruz; sisters Arisela Hammerl of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; brothers Oscar of Highland, Calif., Apolinar and Jose Guadalupe, both of East Chicago, Ind.; parents of Tamazula, Jalisco and cousin, Fernando Torres of Carson City.
