Crime Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11 p.m. Sunday at the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of second-offense misdemeanor domestic battery following the report of a dispute at the residence.

• A 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:27 p.m. Sunday at the 800 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia following the report of a fight.

• Miguel Poveda, 39, of Gardnerville was arrested at 11:58 p.m. Sunday at Rice and Carson streets following a traffic stop on a felony warrant for failing to appear in court on a possession of a stolen vehicle charge.

• A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested at gunpoint at 7:40 p.m. Sunday at Longridge and Northridge drives on suspicion of misdemeanor failing to pay a fine, driving with a revoked license, and failing to stop at two stop signs following a police pursuit that also involved the Nevada Highway Patrol.

• A 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 8:09 p.m. Sunday at the 1000 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of domestic battery following the report of a dispute at the location.

• A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:38 p.m. at East College Parkway and Lompa Lane on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to maintain a traffic lane and driving without a valid license.

• A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5 p.m. at the 2000 block of Biercrest on suspicion of domestic battery and probation violation following the report of a dispute at the location.

• A 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 6:08 p.m. at the 2000 block of Emily Court on suspicion of trespassing and disturbing the peace after a resident reported an intoxicated woman was ringing the doorbell and demanding she see her children.
