David W. Mulkey

The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony has established a public works department and recruited David W.

Mulkey to organize and become the department's first director.

Mulkey has held positions of director of public works at cities in California and Arizona.

He was most recently a facilities manager within the gaming industry.

Mulkey will oversee the Colony's water and sewer facilities in the Hungry Valley Utility District, building construction, solid waste collection, maintenance activities on 18 miles of roads, building and grounds maintenance, fleet maintenance, and the Colony's transit system.

In addition, he will work with other Colony departments on Truckee River flood control, public building and commercial construction.
