Faro named interim CEO at Saint Mary's

Faro has been appointed interim chief executive officer of Saint Mary's until a permanent CEO is selected.

After receiving his master's degree in healthcare from George Washington University, he began his career at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, Calif., where he was appointed chief executive officer in 1989.

He retired as CEO from Sequoia Hospital in 1997, but has continued to serve as a board member and is currently vice chairman.

He is also the president of the Sequoia Healthcare District.
