Rockeries has begun construction of the next phase of rock retaining walls at the Somersett development in northwest Reno.

The walls, which average 10 feet in height, are part of a project that's expected to run through spring 2007 and involve about 150,000 square feet of rock retaining walls.

Harlan Fricke is the engineer for the project.
