Donald H. Storey

A memorial service for Donald H. Storey, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Storey died Oct. 29, 2004, at Evergreen Care Center. He was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Cleveland to Hugh and Helen Poinsette Storey.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Minneapolis.

He married Anne Patin June 8, 1948, in Cleveland.

Mr. Storey was an electrical engineer. He enjoyed golf, music and bridge.

He was an Episcopalian.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Mark of Joplin, Mo., and Hugh of Piscataway, N.J.; sister, Joan Herbert of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and grandchildren Meg and David Storey of Joplin.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
